These five star quality cottages are ideally located for exploring north and west Lakeland. A short drive takes you to Keswick on the shores of Derwentwater and even closer is Bassenthwaite lake where the Ospreys can be seen all summer catching fish to feed their chicks. There are many walks from the doorstep from a gentle stroll to Bassenthwaite lake to a steepish path into the Whinlatter forest.
